2006 Season
Congratulations to all Grady Grey Knights on winning a regional championship in AAA the first year after advancing from AA! The Grey Knights were ranked 10th in AAA in the State by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC), and 8th in the State by the Associated Press.

Individual honors are:
A.J. Johnson was selected a recipient of the 2006 Hall of Fame State of Georgia Scholar Athlete Award (one of the top 40 Scholar Athletes in football in the State of Georgia in 2006). This award is sponsored by Texaco Havoline, the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, Gallagher Electric and Engineering, the Georgia High School Association, and the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. A. J. was honored at a luncheon on December 29 and will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Dexter Barnett was invited to play in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association North-South Classic All-Star Football Game in Columbus, Georgia on December 29.

Rico Robinson has been selected to the AJC’s 1st Team AAA All-State Team.

Dexter Barnett has been selected as an Honorable Mention to the AJC’s AAA All-State Team.
